I remember. The years before Misty put out albums. When she sang alone in the prayer room at 2am "like a harlot, with a chain around my neck, it's my name." She was maybe 23 then. To think of the ways Mike Bickle drained the lifeblood from her until she was nothing but a puppet.

@DunningAwen @ihopkc Right out of the gate it was the loss of relationships via community shunning. Relationships I thought were deep turned out shallow. It was devastating to be severed off like some infected limb of the body. I'm glad I didn't invest +years of my life into that toxic community.

I made myself invisible. That's how I survived. I joined night watch ASAP where I was able to hide for 2 of the 6 years on staff.
