Yeah. I've lived under the control of two psychopaths. First my mother, then my ex husband. It's a choice to leave abuse as an adult. It's painful, dangerous, and may cost everything. But it doesn't make you become an abuser. Many women leave only when they see others being hurt.

@realprophetguy It is a truly awful story. I've been praying for justice, and what I consistently get from God and scripture is that he desires justice now. The stalling and excuses are not God. I feel like Jesus' sword is exposing and judging all of our hearts, and we need to truly fear God.

@Calebculver Lots of people are groomed and abused and don't become abusers. What happened to her was wrong but she's also a grown woman. Usually leaving an abusive situation means losing everything. But it is a choice. I had to do that and it's devastating, but better than staying.
