@bozlawpa The biggest issue I have with this is the conflating of forgiveness with a lack of accountability. Forgiveness does not equal free pass. Culture of honor teachings can mess with how you see forgiveness. Accountability does not mean betrayal. It’s actually love.

Interns at @ihopkc had to fill out this worksheet while they listened to the prophetic history. It’s 14 pages long, full of questions like “When did Mike have his first encounter with the prophetic?” This is one of the many ways MB ensured that his stories became our story.

One of the most alarming things I’ve seen through this is seeing people minimizing abuse towards minors because they aren’t children and have now have crossed the puberty threshold. We need to protect our tweens and teens even in church environments. Parents are in charge.
