HDFC gave LTF Infinia upgrade to almost all regalia/DCB holders back on 1-3 Jan 2021. Still Infinia has enough “exclusivity” today. It’s on the bank to decide what are their target customers and how much benefits to put in their reward portfolio sustainably.

Sometimes it’s better to pay in foreign currency rather than in INR. On international websites, DCC would be 1% + GST when paying in INR and Axis Reserve charges 1.5% + GST when paying in USD and 2x rewards. So effectively paying 0.59% extra fetches double reward points. 😍
