Payment from CRED to HDFC was not instant this time. Took T+2 days for credit to reflect. CRED definitely has made some changes to their payment system. I guess I will move to Direct Payments from Bank accounts as I dont want to be a scapegoat of experimentation.

I personally know 3-4 people who have claimed bogus deductions thru some CAs to get Tax refunds to the tune of โ‚น1-1.5 Lacs. Certain CAs charge 10% of the refund amount as fee and get this done. It was only a matter of time that the bubble would burst!

Magnus Burgundy waalon - How's the Josh? Less than 6 months into giving major banking business to Axis Bank, they gave such a gift to their Premium Customers. Happy that I did not move my Banking from HDFC to Axis. Only a matter a time before Axis Cards are closed down.

If you have an HDFC Infinia and no plans to get Axis Burgundy Account, you dont need to get on the Axis Magnus Circus. Just get the Axis Atlas + Amex Plat. Travel - You will earn a higher reward rate with a much simpler approach!

I have taken total of 10 (Yes, Just 10) leisure Flights prior to 2022. All Economy travel. 2022 - 8 Leisure Flights - 3 In Prem. Eco & 5 In Biz Class. None in Economy No. This is not just about power of Credit Cards. Sorting out personal finances played a major role in this.

@FI_InvestIndia You might be good with Investing, but you clearly lack the knowledge of Credit Cards as a Product. ๐Ÿ™ Yes, people fall in Debt Trap due to Credit Cards, but thats a people problem. Credit Cards can provide a lot more than just one free flight or one free hotel night.

Bye Bye Standard Chartered Ultimate ๐Ÿ‘‹! The 3rd oldest active card in my credit history, oldest active card being Amex MRCC and second being HDFC Infinia (From when it was Regalia) Its Axis, HDFC & Amex Cards as the top three choices for now.

T&Cs couldnt be any more clearer IMO. Axis has definitely learnt a few things in the past one year. 35 ER per โ‚น200 is for spends above โ‚น150,000 TravelEdge is no longer 5X. Its 60 ER per โ‚น200. There is a difference between both. Axis is making clear that it wont become 35 x 5
