@sweatystartup We always required trying bites (five bites for five years etc) and then if they refuse AFTER that they have one option: go make your own PBJ. Now they always eat whatever we make, provide positive feedback, and have lots of favorites that they “hated” when they were three.

@DanReese21 It’s not the cold in the winter, it’s the lack of sun. Seasonal Affective Disorder is something like 20 to 40 times worse here than the national average. Late spring, summer, early fall: super hard to beat. Winter elsewhere.

The idea that this is somehow a bad thing is probably the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. I do my level best to NOT be in support, because my team is way better than me. But the CEO being fully aware of support is table stakes. Kudos to @RocketDotNet and @ben_gabler

Hey @MarkGavalda , who greenit this @Kinsta review of your competitor @RocketDotNet ? Taking a shot at a competitor because their CEO cares enough AND has the technical skills to pitch in and help customers because he wants to and can? That’s low. Do better.

@adampreiser We have ALWAYS grandfathered account pricing from the very beginning. From a bottom line perspective it's a really bad idea. And it also belies the considerable value we're adding over time. But it makes it pretty easy to look myself in the mirror at night.

I think the problem with all of these naming conventions is not actually that people refer to themselves as "developers" when they are not. The problem is their clients believe that they can solve problems which they cannot, regardless of titles. And that's where the rubber
