@pattonoswalt I get uncomfortable & irritable if my shoes are on the wrong feet. I can’t imagine someone making me pretend to be the gender they say I should be for their comfort. We need to support people because they know who they are & not make them wear the wrong gender for our comfort.

My dad’s second wife (my sister’s mother) died today in a tragic accident. 8 days after my dad. Life is surreal. And focus is difficult at the moment. Tell the people you love that you love them. It’s always the right time to remind people that they are loved.

My cousin died from COVID tonight. Over the years we drifted away and back to each other as family does. She had kids and grandkids and 5 years ago married the love of her life. She was the happiest I’d ever seen her. And now she’s gone forever. Please get vaccinated. Please.

When I travel alone, I have to rely on gate agents and flight attendants for assistance. When someone goes above and beyond to make me welcome and comfortable, I give them a $5 gift card to @Starbucks . I always have these on me. And these ones are in Braille!

Last month I sent out a newsletter that wasn't as accessible as it could (& should) have been. I got a note from a blind woman who told me what I needed to do better. This month she told me it WAS better! And I told her I'd keep trying and to keep holding me accountable.
