1/ Did you know that you can make insulin resistance (type 2 diabetes) worse while eating zero carb? If you are close to your personal fat threshold and are eating lots of fat, then there ain’t anywhere for the fat to go. All your fat cells (adipose) are stuffed..

All these comments & none stating the most obviously and helpful answer. Eat less fat, especially from dairy. We have people coming to us from the “eat only fattiest cuts” carnivore recommendations daily that are just gaining body fat. Less in the diet means more burned off body.

I don’t know what to do anymore. I am scheduling a session with Bart Kay. Carnivore for 7 months, insomniac for 27 years. F 67, 1.72m. In Aug ‘23: 81 kg now 85, instead of losing 10 kg. Gained #, my jeans don’t fit anymore. No sweeteners, no dairy. Might be the lack of sleep.

This never gets old. Watching a whale up to 80,000 pounds and up to 60 feet long lunch its body out of the water is an incredible sight. This baby humpback was breaching over and over. Baby humpbacks will breach a lot in Maui to get the strength to swim back to Alaska.

@BenBikmanPhD @BYU Yes! And when too many fat cells get hypertrophic (overstuffed or close to your personal fat threshold) the body is in a state of insulin resistance and fat spills over into areas it shouldn’t (liver, pancreas, more in the bloodstream, etc) which is metabolic syndrome.
