I have 20+ credit cards and this is how I manage keeping track. TL,DR: I use excel & an expense manager to record my expense as it happens In this thread, I will share the excel formulas for each type of card I have, so you can just copy paste the formula and build your excel.

CheQ seems like a joke. One of my close friends asked for a referral link and when he went to sign-up, they asked to refer 2 more people for him to be able to sign-up. If someone hasn't used their product, how wise would it be to refer others! MLM type behaviour.

SBI Cashback card devaluation from 1st May 2023. Utilities, Insurance, Jewelry, School fees etc to be excluded from the cashback. That was super quick!!

Let me share a "hack" with you guys. This is for People who have 1️⃣ Citibank cards (not Prestige) 2️⃣ Having a limit of 3L or above 3️⃣ Have a ton of points sitting in your card. 4️⃣ Are interested in Airmiles game. So, you can upgrade your Citi card to Prestige.

Not all credit cards are launched for the highly value focused individuals. HDFC Marriott is one of them One needs to make peace with the fact that there are other customers who will be more than happy to get on the Marriott bandwagon for a reasonable fee and adequate rewards.

Unpopular opinion: It is easier to do Magnus milestone than complete Amex MRCC and Gold milestones 😔. Fly in the ointment being, one has to be mindful of transaction value, number of transactions, eligibility to earn points etc etc. Magnus is simply point & shoot vs Amex's DSLR

Great thread as always! My sequence would be 1) Recharge my DTH 4 times for ₹300 each and 1 time for ₹1000 using Tata UPI & complete 1 badge 2) That ₹1000 UPI will complete 1 badge 3) Grocery of ₹500 for 5 times 4) Pharma order for ₹1000 twice 5 badges completed, 2000 NC in!

And so it begins. Amex Festival offer is here. Enrolment is compulsory. Valid from 15th September to 15th November. Just don't make the mistake I did, that is if you are going to get any refund from any merchant into Amex, that will eat into the spend milestone set.

I think all banks have decided to engage all the CCGeeks and CC users every 15 days! Amex engaged till 15th Dec (Bonvoy transfer). Axis has engaged till 3rd Jan (Vistara card Govt milestone). HDFC now keeping us occupied till 15th Jan to find the ideal transfer partner!

Ok, I think Ax-is wants me to fall in love with them. Axi-s card got approved (no, it is not the one which everyone is talking about). A-xis card got delivered. Asix card was added in app. But A-x-i-s haven't billed me the fee yet 🤯 Parampara, pratishtha, anushasan kahan gayi?!!

Bad luck strikes! @AirFranceFR @flyingblue cancelled the ticket for Vietnam domestic! Read mail screenshots and be aware of how Air France can deny you service!! I used Axis Atlas card and Air France cancelled! I tried again with Olympus and again same issue.

⭐I had a planned spend of ₹10L in Dec & Jan. ⭐Upgraded my Axis Privilege to Atlas in December and process was super fast and smooth. ⭐3rd Axis card. ⭐Wanted Plat Travel as back-up, hence applied. They rejected as I had 2 CC. ⭐Glad they rejected as MCC was hotel one 🤭😊

If you are upgrading from the DCB Plastic to Metal, you should be able to get it FYF. On the other hand the DCB Alumni offer is being withdrawn it seems. My understanding is is just like the Infinia, new issuance of the DCB plastic will be halted entirely.

While everyone is awaiting news from HD-FC Credit cards about deval, Payzapp has been significantly devalued. Billpay will now give you ₹30, recharges now give you ₹25 and landline bill will now give you ₹30. All this is 5% cashback. Only good thing is there is a DC offer.

Axis Atlas holders, last day to transfer to Turkish FFP and get 2X of transferred miles upto 20000 miles. So transfer 10000 EdgeMiles to get 40000 Turkish Miles. You get a mail from Axis too, so not to worry.

Citi to Axis migration from 1st March, but business as usual till 2nd half of 2024 (as per Citi). By business as usual, it means all the aspects of earning points, branding, app usage, etc. Physical branches, ATMs do get rebranded, though.

The only remaining good thing about SBI card was the flexibility to transfer limits between credit cards. Now that is also gone. Some executives tell me it is due to a software maintenance activity, but I am sure it is not going to come back.

New card(s) idea: One MCC eligible per card, launch 1000 such individualized cards. Will help skip the mental gymnastics that has become Axis card. Credit cards which were supposed to aid in convenience are now becoming headaches.

Axis Bank announces a new set of MCCs that will not be eligible for cashback/rewards on its co-branded credit cards. Even the popular but difficult to get Airtel Axis Bank credit card is hit. Govt. services, Insurance, Education and Rent Payments will not get any cashback.

Checked in Crowne Plaza Gurgaon today early morning and was upgraded to Suite. Base Tier, but corporate booking and maybe the hotel is full due to some wedding. Good breakfast buffet and good service. Sometimes, it pays to check in last.

Axis realized rent payment can be manufactured; insurance, not so easily. Received message for Magnus and Atlas and both don't mention Insurance being excluded. Hopefully, they don't reconsider their decision.

Amex has increased the number of voucher options for 18k and 24k gold redemption! Sadly, the options to redeem your points for Statement Credit of ₹9,000 and ₹6,000 for 24K and 18K Gold Collection respectively will be discontinued effective 3 May 2022.
