@ThePoliticalPom They are definitely high energy, vocal dogs. Our husky rarely barks but he ‘talks’ all day long. He taught our mini schnauzers how to howl. Needs lots of attention ie jealous and stubborn. Wonderful dogs but not for everyone for sure. Also very derpy 😂

Anyone else have a carnivore kid? Today mine (14y male) gets a 4 eggs, 1/3lb sausage, 2 strips of bacon scramble topped w/raw cheddar and a protein shake w/raw milk. If you have a carnivore kid I’d love to see what you cook for them!

@eatthesunnow A lot of people have trouble wrapping their head around how this way of eating is healthy bc of the info that’s been drummed into their head all their life. I’ve lost 20lbs in 2 months and I feel fantastic. My adult kids know I do carnivore and have started asking questions.

Definitely not sexy, still working out cooking one handed while my right hand heals from surgery, but not bad for left hand only. 1lb @whiteoakpasture ground beef, raw cheddar and two eggs from my backyard. I’m starving so I’m sure it will hit perfectly.

Today I’m 50, married with 6 kids, still don’t care much for dresses and makeup but love high heels and my nails done. Leave kids alone.

There is always one 🤦‍♀️ Shelby is the rebel, wanting to sleep solo on top of the coop. It’s getting chilly at night so I have to put her up. At least she doesn’t make me chase her around their yard anymore. I wish she would stop so I wouldn’t have to clean poop up 😂

Coffee drinker friends…homemade creamer is where it’s at! 1 can sweetened condensed milk, 2 1/4c heavy cream, 1tsp vanilla extract or bean paste. Whisk, heat to steam on stove, cool, bottle/jar, pop in the fridge. It’s that easy!!

Took a little longer for my OG girls to adjust to the move to their new pasture/run than I thought it would. My Starlight & 3 of the new girls have been laying daily. Happy to be up to 6. Just need the 2 littles to get bigger so they lay & Henrietta needs to get w/the program.

It’s not much, but I’m slowing building our pantry stock. Five pints of roasted cherry tomato salsa canned. Will be canning tomato jam w/the last lb of cherry tomatoes + 4lbs of heirlooms. Girls are laying daily, 4-1/2dz eggs on hand. Time to make some egg heavy dishes.

New chickens have arrived! Barbie and June are Americaunas. The OGs aren’t sure what to think of their new friends yet. Cupcake was very vocal yesterday when we put them in the run. Loulou, Henrietta and Bertha squawked a bit but mostly ignored them.

It’s been a good day. Balsamic pot roast cooked all day and was amazing. Just pulled pillowy soft sourdough rolls out of the oven. Made a lrg batch of hard boiled eggs. Got 6 eggs today from the backyard girlies. Garden is thriving. Garlic is pushing up. It’s coming together.

It’s adventure time for the chickens. The evening is a cool 82, feels more like something in the 70’s. The girls are still segregating, the biddies are getting more bold. They prefer to stay close to the run gate &the safety of their coop. One day they will all forage together.

Made pickled jalapeños with the ones I picked the other day. Should have enough ready by the weekend to make some salsa. Just waiting on a few more tomatoes to ripen enough. Mammoth jalapeños were a new plant in the garden. Very solid plant. Will do more than 2 in the spring.

How it started vs how it’s going. Husband &son have already started eating the muffins, four are gone. Need more blueberries, these won’t last long enough for me to freeze any 😂 All are sourdough. I use the bread machine for easy sandwich loaves. The round will cold ferment.

@carnivoremax Add eggs. I scramble eggs with chorizo and add a little raw cheddar. You can also do eggs whisked with a little cream, chorizo &cheese and pour into muffin tin and bake. Egg bites are the best!

@panda_gongjunim Your kids need to know you’re there for them. Had a coach’s kid push my son several times at practice for flag football years ago. Third time my son was caught totally off guard and fell down. Coach yelled at my son. I jumped from the bleachers and got onto the kid and coach.

@dnarunner I do a quick sear on each side. 1-1 1/2 minutes each side. I make a marinade with soy sauce/coconut aminos, toasted sesame oil, honey, salt, pepper and cayenne. Husband and son are more ketovore and this is their favorite way I make it.

Oh my this came out 🔥 if you like chili crisp I highly recommend trying it in a marinade for jerky. It’s got a little heat that hits on the back end. Flavor is not overpowering.Was able to get about 3 1/2lbs in the dehydrator so I’ll have jerky for a few days.

We added three hens to our flock. One of the new girls is an Americana. All three Americanas are laying now. Small sized eggs but Darla lays pink eggs! Barbie and June are olive eggers. Once Pepper and Shelby start laying I should get 9 eggs a day.

Last wk I came across this photo & had to hunt down the recipe. Mississippi Mud Potatoes. Decided it would be the perfect side to Mississippi Pot Roast & homemade sourdough rolls. I was not wrong. Dinner was a huge hit with my guys. I make my own au jus mix & ranch seasoning.

Shaking things up today and deviating from the standard recipe we use. Roughly 3lbs of thin sliced bottom round roast, marinated for 24hrs in homemade Korean BBQ bulgogi sauce, in the dehydrator for some jerky. My kitchen is getting ready to smell amazing! #carnivore

With the exception of the two heirlooms in the left and the husky cherries, every other tomato is from a Roma Cherry cross. I think I had crazy cross pollination going on as the size and color variations are wild. Each variation tastes different. Some very sweet. Loving it!

@DrHeathMotley @AllBiteNoBark88 My gastroenterologist recommended that I start vaping to have nicotine therapy for my vagus nerve pain that would send me to the ER every few months feeling like I had another perforated ulcer. Haven’t been to the ER in 7 yrs. I’m also never sick. Interesting.

Bulgogi jerky is sadly all gone. So today I’m making garlic chili crisp jerky. Smells really good, can’t wait! This makes a great snack to toss in a container and into my purse when I’m out running errands etc. Never tempted to stop and grab something if I get hungry when out.

@EmanBotl Feed runs me $.59 a day per chicken. 5 chickens out of 7 currently lay. Takes three days to get a dozen from those 5. Costs me $1.71 a dozen. When their pasture grass grows in that cost will reduce down as they forage more and hit the feeder less.

@CaryKelly11 My 14yr follows animal based carnivore w/me. His Doc thinks it great. I want the best possible life outcomes for him. He does jujitsu and boxing 4 night a week. He loves how good he feels.
