Systemic viral persistence
“We demonstrate systemic SARS-CoV-2 persistence for more than 2 years after Covid-19 infection” ⬆️Amount viral RNA correlates w/⬆️disease severity, ⬇️lymphocytes, ⬇️immunometabolism & ⬆️platelets. + in 65% of LC & 25% of controls
@waysidewhelp
@ravenscimaven
Exhausted CD8 Tcells too (kill cells infected by viruses/bacteria), showed signs of exhaustion in LC…observed in T cells that recognize SARS-CoV-2 virus, not in broader population of CD8 T cells. Such exhaustion typically seen in viral infections like HIV

Acknowledgement of SARS-CoV-2 viral persistence, especially within megakaryocytes, that produce infected platelets needed ASAP..
…so antiviral/antiretroviral therapies can start for millions worldwide
@erincandy
Son went to GP to ask to trial antivirals to treat Brainfog. Bloodwork shows T-cell reactivity to CMV & HHV6. She was a deer in headlights, with no idea about anything Covid. Asked for us to send her info as rational. I'm happily sending her ample evidence. I'm on page 177 so far

Tired little CD8+😓“findings suggest that SARS-CoV-2 infection damages the CD8+ T cell response, an effect akin to that observed in earlier studies showing long-term damage to the immune system after infection with viruses such as hepatitis C or HIV”

Today’s vaccine data in Alberta: Most of our young children got Covid before they were even eligible for the vaccine. Today less than 8% of our kids under the age of five have had a first dose of covid-19 vaccine. Our youngest are sick and filling our children’s hospitals.

His communication style is quite curt, but Dr. Leonardi has been correct about Covid T-cell dysfunction
from the start. His T-cell expertise offers arguments that are attacked/disregarded/criticized, but T-cell research backs him. Shooting the messenger?🤷♀️
@lisa_iannattone
Lung damage from SARS-CoV-2 could contribute to the severity of an influenza infection? Many children got infected with Covid in the last 11 months (with no vaccine protection). Their vulnerable lungs need protection from all infections post covid😷

3/ Nasal sprays: Emerging research worldwide for nasal sprays with different products in them look promising. They kill the virus in the nasalpharyngeal area, so it can’t colonize and get swallowed and inhaled into our body. We use Enuvid from Israel:
@r_prior
2 new studies:
LC and ME/CFS individuals, both w/PEM.
-immunological dysregulation in both
-Amyloid deposits one study and improper platelet activation other
These connected? Microclots? Thrombolytics?

ME/CFS w/PEM pre/post exercise:
“immunological defects present at baseline in patients and an additional layer of dysregulation in platelets”
-Monocyte dysregulation is prominent. Dysregulation correlates with disease severity
-improper platelet activation post exercise

Individuals born in 1919, who were newborns or 2nd or 3rd trimester fetuses during the height of the 1918 flu pandemic:
“approximately 25% more heart disease after age 60, as well as increased diabetes risk, compared to a similar cohort not born in 1919”
@sasswashere
I’m hopeful these tools, backed w/ emerging science, we’ve been using will hopefully prevent covid-19, and other infections: normal saline nasal/mouth wash, mouthwash w/CPC, & nasal sprays like Enuvid from Israel (I ordered Viraleze from Australia too)⬇️1/

Looks like vaccination reduces risk: “reduced risk of post-C19 heart attack and stroke by 41% in people who are fully vaccinated. Even partial vaccination reduced risk by 24%. Fully vaccinated was defined as having received at least 2 mRNA vaccine doses”
@frogess33
Clear the virus from the nasopharyngeal & oral mucosa several times a day with normal saline nasal/mouth rinses. That’s where the virus attaches, replicates and spreads to the rest of the body initially. Add nasal sprays/mouthwash below if you can access them in your region.
@zbabies_68
@amandatoryfigs
@drseanmullen
I’d also saline nasal rinse 2-4X a day, flushing active SARS-CoV-2 from sites it initially attaches/replicates/spreads: the naso/epipharyngeal area. Virus replicates in salivary glands too so mouthwash with CPC may kill virus too. Viraleze & streptococcus Salivarius lozenges also
@jaclynmacrae

My heart goes out to teachers too. Classrooms are super spreaders exposing all to high viral loads. It’s going to get harder to hire/retain teachers if we disable them. Long Covid risk is 38% by 3rd infection. Research shows viral persistence & microclots

The precautionary principle should apply with novel viruses. Especially C-19, where we have ample short term research (3 years worth) and real world experiences showing significant harm in our populations.

The investigators words were directly quoted. You don’t agree with these actual scientists who discovered and studied T-cells and CD8+ responses showing decreased functionality, who wrote the paper and offered their own conclusions? You’ve come up with your own “theory” I bet

My son did IV Ozone, IV NAD+ and IV Glutiothone with some success at Nardella Clinic in Calgary. Dr Haggarty understands/treats viral damage. His brain fog started April 2021, brought on by possible Covid infection prior to vaccines. He tested high for molds, CMV, HHV6 & Lyme.

TY for sharing your story. You helped open my eyes to this vile virus. The video brushing your hair was impactful. Still trying to prevent infection for myself/family with masks, vaccines, nasal rinses, Enuvid and CPC mouthwash. Seeing research and hoping for LC treatments soon.

I’m a 25yr postpartum public health nurse who homevisits new moms/babies. In the last 8 weeks I’ve seen a significant amount of pregnant women hospitalized, very sick due to Covid infections. They did not receive updated C-19 vaccines due to misinformation

This circulated in 2020 during early discovery of the case fatality rate and damage SARS-CoV-2 does to the body. A hypothetical 1% death rate with morbidity fallout is visualized. We hadn’t even considered reinfection risks, nor the consequences of viral persistence.
@ballerina9999
I am hoping you recover fast and well. Have you seen the research on normal saline rinses during infection? We use it as a preventative method, but would plan to continue its use when and if we get a Covid infection
@ErinAPN1
Send her every high-quality study, backing up why recommending exercise to LC suffering from Post Exertional Malaise (if she is) might in fact be malpractice at this point. It can do more damage. Solid research is available. They need to get up to speed

Research shows viral persistence. PASC/LC showed strong evidence of viral reservoirs/persistence. Amazingly high frequency of cd8 T-Cells(100x higher), higher than in HIV. “inverse correlation w/ pulmonary function & frequency of COVID-19-specific T cells”
@SoftPriestess
@ChrisAlvino
Definitely could be a temporary stimulant effect but physiologically Nicotine might kick SARS-CoV-2 virus off the nAChR receptors they share. Nicotine has a 30-fold higher affinity to those nAChR receptors. My son’s brainfog improves while on the patches

Dosage maybe? For 18+ year olds the first dose of Moderna is 100ug of mRNA, subsequent doses are 50ug. All Pfizer dosages are 30ug of mRNA for ages 12+. Canada recommends Pfizer for males under age 30 to decrease risk of myocarditis.

My son tested high for several molds (urine sent for Mycotoxin panel to US Biotek). He has started IV Ozone Therapy, IV NAD+ and IV Glutiothone alternating weekly. He has had brain fog for 2 years from what we think was a bacterial or viral infection exacerbated by sleep apnea.

C-19 can damage the inner ear as well as the auditory pathway. Hearing loss may be the only symptom of COVID-19 or be a late complication of the disease due to postinfectious inflammation of the nerve tissue. It is advisable to perform hearing diagnostics in patients after C-19
Novavax protein vaccine did not induce notable increases in spike-specific IgG4 or negatively impact Fcγ effector responses
