I had Covid in March and needed hospital treatment. My lungs still aren't right. However I've some temporary immunity to Covid now so I've slotted back into "normal" life. Not masking, seeing friends etc. When that immunity starts to wane I'll be back to taking all precautions 😷

@MeetJess @JustineKirby They're immunologically not really plausible. We know how to control COVID - unfortunately all you can do is keep isolating, distancing, avoiding indoor contacts, and ventilating+masking if you can't.

@Trplb2 @myrabatchelder Because masks aren't perfect, they just cut down on the risk of transmission (assuming a good-quality respirator worn correctly). You should wear one anytime you have to be in an indoor space with others, but you still need to minimize those exposures.

@TrufusR @bellachu10 @staffcommenter @NHTSAgov You have this *exactly* backwards. In urban cores, scooters and e-bikes should be the only motorized vehicles anyone is driving except for emergency vehicles and delivery trucks in the very early morning. Outside cities cars may still be needed, but should be taxed heavily.
