The DAC in its meeting on 16 Feb 24 approved a number of important amendments to the DAP 20. There is much to cheer about for startups / MSMEs. The full letter is 46 pages. I’ll highlight some important changes in this thread 🧵 . I’ll keep adding more in the coming days. 1/n

AFAIK, ‘Tilaks’ in uniform were banned in the reorganisation after the 1859 uprising. Let us not forget that the principle cause of the Vellore Mutiny (1806) was banning of the tilak. So when we say something has ‘always’ been done - that might not be the case. 2/n

Importing equipment is easier than making them interoperable. Danish frigate in the Red Sea had CMS & radar issues, issues with Oto Melara. Thank god the drones were low-tech & not swarming. (IN had set up #WESEE to resolve issues of interoperability)
