Ma'm ....These fumes are neither released always nor continuously. Release of black smoke is a sign of improper combustion of fuel and is attended to promptly by naval personnel. This happens for a short duration when engines are flashed up from cold. 1/n
Why is the
@indiannavy
releasing these clearly toxic fumes from R33 INS Vikramaditya so close to the
#Mumbai
shore?
Someone needs tell ASD, Lion Gate that this is absolutely unacceptable.
FYI
@IndrashilRao
we don’t need have the Navy accused of polluting South Mumbai.
Captain P Rajkumar, SC, NM(G), Asian of the year 2019 hangs his boots & bids adieu to

Curious to know since when have the submarines operating in international waters 200NM from Makran Coast been blocked & how? Secondly, any submarine in Arabian Sea is not necessarily an Indian Submarine!!!
@OfficialDGISPR
made the same noise a few years back as well
@indiannavy
Pakistan Navy "detected and blocked" an Indian submarine from entering Pakistani territorial waters on Oct 16, in third attempted incursion in recent times, says Pakistani military in statement. Short accompanying video appears to show FLIR camera footage of a submarine mast.
Recruitment of Tibetan soldiers in PLA is fraught with dangers & might prove counter productive. Unconfirmed, but quite possible, reports of shooting of 2 MajGen rank Offrs + 6 ORs by newly recruited Tibetan soldiers of PLA near Ngari Gunsa Airbase. 1/n

Proudly remembering that we were 'cocked and ready' - 'stood to' this day last year. Without a doubt, we would have sunk the Pak fleet in the Arabian Sea, never to recover, but they tucked their tails as always & talked big to fool their gullible domestic audience who are 1/n

Guys, hold your horses. That is his view point & rightly so. The fact remains that an aircraft carrier provides you power, mobility and sustenance at sea, which is an absolute need of the hour in our area of interest/ responsibility. Look at all the worthy Navies of the world.
Some lessons from the sinking of Russian Navy flagship Moskva:
1. Anti Shipping Missiles would reach their intended target, come what may.
2. C4ISR is the key to naval warfare along with MDA and battlefield transparency.
3. Damage Control need to exercised more rigorously.
