“Please bring him back Sir” were the words I’d texted to Admiral Hari Kumar (then Chief of Personnel) in 2018. That he did everything possible to coordinate the rescue is one thing. What I wouldn’t forget is how he kept me sane throughout the days with his reassuring words.
