@kunalrv It's about time the selection process for civil servants should changed. 1. Limit max age to 23 for graduates, 19 after 12th. 2. Training period could be 2-3 yrs. 3. 5 yrs compulsory military service. 4. Academic oriented exam should be done away with.

@BattaKashmiri Hijab is a political tool, not a religious one. About 4-5 decades, when traditional Muslim countries like Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Egypt, Pak (part of India till 1947) were not affected by outside & western intervention; Hijab was not a regular part of their outgoing clothing.

@realkaypius @arunp2810 The only thing wrong with a well trained & nurtured minister hailing Mr Modi is the presence of Ministers. None of the ministers should have been there. Instead one Navy Captain for each minister would have done a far better job with more efficiency & no drama.

@bhogleharsha We wud ve won in SA as well, only if we had Vihari & Shreyash in place of Pujara & Rahane. We paid price for poor selection. One off Test at England will be a challenge. Aus in India is not going to be easy either. These 5 tests, we need to win, to be worthy of a world champion.

@Cmde_GPrakash Sir, the SAR effort by Captains & Crew of Kochi & Kolkata & SK crew would be perhaps the most challenging ops they would ever face in their service. This would have been more difficult than a typical military ops. Kudos to IN for undertaking this. Excellent article Sir.
