Where I work, consultants/seniors normally buy coffee for HOs after finishing ward round. We support our juniors, they can contact us anytime if needed. When you have a busy stressful day, a simple gesture (thank you) can make their day. It costs nothing to be nice.

Guided a HO to do a successful IJV CVL today. Love teaching and guiding HO for procedures because it reminds me that I need to be better than some of my senior MOs of anaesthesia back during my HOship who were always so fucking scared to let us do anything. Not all though, some.

We have 3 ICUs in my hospital however there isn’t enough staff nurses to care for the beds.the beds aren’t at max capacity because the contract staff nurses either received placements to West Malaysia and other district hospitals or contracts terminated. How la.

It’s not fair for Sarawakians and also the doctors. The nurses in ICU pun kesian weh. 2 patients to one nurse ratio. Can you imagine how tired they must be to care for 2 critically ill ADULT patients. SOMETHING HAS TO CHANGE.
