A student found a rare pink grass hopper running away from her chickens. She researched and found out that you only have 1% chance of seeing one in your life time, so she brought it to all grades to share the grass hopper and what she learned about them!

This fall, I took a course with @HighlightsFound @HUnderdown What a wealth of knowledge! At the end of the course, they set you up with a 1:1 mentor. I found out that my mentor is Rona Shirdan🙌🏻 I am so excited about what’s to come!

Biggest take away from my mentor meeting: I have great stories that need to be written with a picture book structure. I needed to hear this. I needed to know my stories were good enough. Putting my pantser ways aside to rewrite as a plotter. #WritingCommunity #revise

@adriamgoetz I think any response that acknowledges something specific about what was submitted. Authors work so hard at connecting with agents in the query and connecting with them that it is disheartening when you can’t tell if it was actually read. 1/2
