We found these bits of paper tucked behind the hinges of an old door in our house. It is a ripped up flyer for an 8-hour dance marathon that took place a few miles away on April 26, 1925. Apparently dance marathons were very popular during the prohibition era in our area! 💃🏽🕺🏻

“Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?” was the first book I memorized as a kid and made everyone listen to me recite it a million times. I love Eric Carle’s work and am so glad he existed. He brought a little bit more wonder and whimsy into the world ♥️

I try to post more about what I WANT to see in my inbox, rather than what I DON’T want to see, but I do want to say: I get so so so many Trump parody PB submissions and I just... do not want to think about this man more than I have to. I think kids probably feel this way too?
