People are understandably upset about the plans to put a cycle lane through Deansgrange Cemetery. I hope once they’ve had time to consider it, they’ll see it as a good thing. The dead don’t have to be kept away from the living. I think it’s a lovely idea. ❤️

New cycle way in Fairview is a complete farce and will have a negative impact on most northsiders as a main artery into the city will become even more of a bottleneck. Nobody dares say anything because a segment of the cycling lobby are some of the most abusive people online.

@LibertyD8 This is an awful accident and I really hope the cyclist is ok but it's unlikely his helmet played any part in keeping his leg from being crushed. Bike helmets are not designed to keep cyclists safe in collisions with cement truck drivers (or even car drivers).
