Yday I felt like I had a new born all over again! I got to play with one of my early patents which is being clinically tested incl at Beaumont!This not only moves the esophagus for AF ablation, it takes care of the trailing edge by suctioning the esophagus to move it en masse.

How to manage AF post CABG: take a look at our meta-analysis where we found impact of new onset afib (NOAF) post CABG was associated with higher in hospital mortality, higher stroke risk, higher all cause and CV mortality. We excluded valvular surgery.

Top highlights: can’t compare PFA from one manufacturer to another. Unlike RF. Impedance in PFA is not equivalent to RF impedance drops. Whether thermal temp rises can occur is a question but swine studies show less than 5 C heating.
