Please send prayers. My dad’s on day 11 of Covid. His oxygen has dropped. My kids have already seen two grandparents pass. I need him, and we need him. And 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 for my mom. She has masked like a champ and is Covid negative right now.

It’s not a cold. Thanks to Covid, I have severe iliac vein compression and need surgery. And, thanks to Covid, I have no safe way to have surgery without risking covid again. 🫠

I am covid positive again. It’s impossible to stay well in an unmitigated pandemic when you have kids, are too sick to homeschool and try to hold on to your remote job, and are (thanks to covid) immune compromised.

Perhaps an unpopular opinion but anyone who says “I had long covid and recovered” and they are indoors without a mask, you did not have “my” long covid. If I ever get well enough to do things, I will damn well do all I can to avoid this again.

I tested pos for Covid this am. I feel a bit hot, with mild sore throat and aches, and a bit tired (not as bad as a PEM day). I’m doing nasal rinses, supplements, and gargling. Should I get Pax? I am nervous I’m not mounting much of a response. I am immune compromised.

@MalakaGharib What an offensive story! Substitute long covid for skin cancer & replace “going out” with laying in the sun & see how it reads. Your husband is not anxious. He has adapted; you have not. He is right that more covid could seriously hurt him (and you & your child for that matter).

A family member was diagnosed with long Covid (never vaxxed for the anti vax tribe). We have been texting. He appears to have ME. His doctors have been telling him he just needs to exercise more. He used to bike ride 85 miles/week and now struggles to walk. I hate this virus.
