Gastown could be a spectator spot for locals & tourists. The roads & sidewalks need to be fixed. Removing vehicles would be easy without impacting small business & would increase the number of patios + public spaces for ppl to safely enjoy food, drink, music, and shopping.

Since we haven’t heard anything from Cllr. Swanson, I assume she condones the acts by her supporters. They are happy to support court and process decisions if it is in their favour, but are quick to resort to violence and act like spoiled children when the answer is “no”.

Were any media on hand at Vancouver City Hall today when Cllr. Swanson's supporters stormed the building, damaged doors, and sent the Council Chamber into lockdown (again) until the VPD could restore order? This is not a protest, it's mire a preamble to violent revolution.
