paddling was paused due to weather conditions. Participants took part in Indigenous culture teachings at Ambleside & Capilano Park.

Yesterday, for day two of the
#PullingTogetherCanoeJourney
, participants paddled through Xwáwchayay (Porteau Cove) which is part of the stunning territories and waters of Squamish, the host nation for this year’s Journey.
#VPD
is excited to participate in the new
#DecalProject
initiated by the
@BCPoliceChiefs
. Placing these decals on a home or car will alert first responders that they may encounter an individual with autism or neurodiversity. Visit VPD or any CPC to pick one up!
Today was the first day of the

. Participants spent the day setting up camp and preparing the canoes, and the evening sharing a meal and taking part in the Opening Circle.
