Here's what it's like to try to report on the RCMP: I received a leaked document. In reporting on that document, I contacted the RCMP. The police went straight to the BC prosecutors to demand the document back. They had the court issue an order.

Once more for the East Coast morning crowd: the RCMP arrested one of the best working photojournalists in Canada yesterday, knowing full well that courts have told them again and again that journalists are to be allowed to do their jobs even within injunctions. Infuriating.
