Our bike team was doing proactive patrols near Metrotown when they were approached by a man who said his cellphone had just been stolen. The suspect was on rollerblades & wearing high vis clothing. After a short pursuit, a suspect was arrested & the phone was returned.

Tonight at our roadblock our traffic team not only caught 1 #Impaired driver but we also stopped 4 party buses and conducted a #CVSA inspection on them which resulted in 2 of them being placed #outofservice for critical safety defects #RoadSafety #CMVSafety

While doing school zone enforcement one of our traffic enforcement officers stopped this vehicle speeding, having expired vehicle insurance and displaying a fake validation tag which resulted in the vehicle being towed and the driver recieving $903 in VT's #Burnaby #RoadSafety

This afternoon a man was bear sprayed by an unknown suspect near Dawson & Gilmore. The suspect fled the area, then attempted to spray officers while on the run. He was unable to hide from Air-1 🚁, not to mention a #K9Unit 🐈‍⬛ 1 male in custody. 🐈‍⬛ is 🆗. #GoodBoy

Our Traffic team was out targeting unlicensed drivers in #Burnaby today. 14 drivers were caught driving unlicensed, 4 🚗 were stopped without valid insurance, 1 prohibited driver was caught (charges to follow) and a total of 33 VT's were issued #RoadSafety #BurnabyFrontline
