If he's too ill to work, he should be given a #WorkCapabilityAssessment If he's declared unfit for work, no more access to expenses, he should get £73pw ESA & attend appointments at the job centre, just like everyone else!

#cornoravirus Guy taken into hospital, put on a normal ward & then tested for the virus, has died. Now others on the ward have it! Why not test people b4 putting them on a ward with other vulnerable people? Hospital said they followed protocol, perhaps protocol is wrong then?

@mirielmargaret My mum always used to tell me that biting my nails would make me fat. One day, we were sat on a bus together, I was about 4/5, and a pregnant lady got on. I was staring at her for some time, then I said, for the whole bus to hear, "we know what you've been doing, don't we mummy?"

@tony123____ @sinead_ryan I'm not happy that he's lost his job, but I think that in a hospital setting staff need to be vaccinated, much like drivers need to pass a test to drive on our roads. Risking an outbreak, amongst already ill people, is dangerous& could put a strain on an already understaffed NHS.

@PippaCrerar No religion should shape the laws of ANY country. It's time that religion was completely separate from the law of the land, it has no place in shaping those laws. If you want to worship, go to a religious building, if you want to govern a country, leave your religion at the door.

@Chaela1982 I agree, it's mitigation! I wore a mask in a taxi yesterday, driver said, "it's not the law now, so why are you doing it?" I said, "it's recommended though! Besides, it's not the law to use oven gloves, when you take something out of a hot oven, but it's sensible to do it!"

@MartinSLewis I once had a scam phone call asking to speak to the lady of the house (very Hyacinth Bucket!) I was in the mood for a laugh so, I put on a deep voice, & told them that I had just killed her, but, as her husband, could I be of any help?

@timespolitics We interviewed an "unskilled" migrant, who was an engineer in his own country, before war broke out, and he told Truss to "go pick your own ******* veg! You didn't want us in 2016, so you can bloody well manage without us now!"

@thesundaytimes When I was in hospital once a white lady in the next bed demanded a "British doctor". The consultant said, in a, slight, Yorkshire accent, "I'm as British as you are madam, my grandparents came to the UK in the early 1950s! My grandmother came to work as a nurse in your new NHS!"

@MrAndyNgo Just stop teaching religion, ALL religion, in schools! It shouldn't be part of our lives, unless we WANT it to be,& it most certainly shouldn't be rammed down the throats of children!Keep religion out of education, until children are old enough to decide if they WANT to study it.

@SimonsCat I know you shouldn't have favourites, but my late cat, Sox, was one of mine. He lived to almost 19 years of age.

@SlenderSherbet Guy I knew, decades ago, his dog used to bring her dish to him when she wanted feeding. Wherever he was, bathroom, garden, in bed, she brought the dish. He was once "entertaining" a woman & the dog barged in & put its dish on his bare bottom! I know, because I was that woman!

@D1lyp @Oliver_Plimsole SOME are, just like SOME older people are lazy too! And just like you are lazy, in your thinking/reasoning, for generalising like this! It's just as stupid, and ignorant, as when some youngsters make out that all older people voted BREXIT & are living it up on massive pensions!

@PcNeenaw @Alexandra132 Not just old people either, I have agoraphobia, it started when I was 48. I didn't leave my home for 10 years! All I needed was someone to come with me, say 2, 3 times a week, until I got over the worst of it.

@TolgusB @nadinebh_ @KMFollett How the hell is that the same? One he chose to do, the other was people taking photographs, all the time, every time they are out in public, wanted, or not! Also, NETFLIX isn't saying racist things about his wife! It's a completely different ball game.

@lincs67 @LeeAndersonMP_ Not sure but if you hang on a minute I'll ask the white British guy in the upstairs flat who keeps dumping his crap (fridge freezer/TV/large cabinet) why he does it instead of getting it taken away like I do & my Pakistani neighbour does too. We pay, he just dumps it by the bin!

@R00pert @BuhyJanner My neighbour voted leave because the EU made us burn our orchards?? I'd no idea what she was talking about so I looked into it. It was something from years ago that she'd seen in a newspaper headline! And no, no they didn't!

@S_N0909 @mattcoyney Bingate! I never realised that bins were such a big deal, for some people, until I moved int a flat with communal bins! Now, every bloody week there's some sort of drama, I just leave them all too it!

@dannybamping Bit off that, just because she's gay? But, if that's how you roll, here's one for you! - You're just jealous because the only thing balding about Clare is her surname!

@ginsolvesitall I was in hospital once, the woman in the next bed told the doctor that she wanted to be seen by a British doctor, not him. He told her, in a Yorkshire accent, "I'm as British as you madam! My grandmother came here in the 50s to staff your NHS!" All within earshot applauded him!

@NHSMillion @UniofNewcastle @thegradmedic If I was ill,and a doctor was helping me, I couldn't give a flying flamingo what they were wearing! We are a strange animal, human beings, often caring more about how someone looks, how they say things, rather than who they are and what they are saying!

@JonathanPieNews If you want a job on the front bench you have to vote with the party, no matter what you think. It's like any job, disagree with the bosses too much (even if you have a point/are right) &, no matter how good you are, you won't get that promotion!

@BenSuter I could post pics of my cat being all cute and cuddly but, being an animal, and unable to say, "please stop doing that human - I'm ill/scared/angry" etc, she'd sometimes hiss, scratch and bite. Difference is most domestic cats aren't capable of killing us!
