@realgirl_fieri I caught some shade after 18 1/2 hours of labor from my overall awesome nurse. I’m glad I slept. I was way too tired. I stayed both nights and sent babe to the nursery. That was the last time I had a full night of sleep. Daughter is 6 🤣

@SBMPediatrics Thank God for my pediatrician. He encouraged supplement because my daughter was underweight and I was exhausted with cluster feedings, even when the lactation consultant directly told me never to supplement. He also sought to make sure my mental health was ok.

I get suggestions for nurses and other people all the time that I have no shared friends with and I assume it’s based on location and a bunch of other algorithms. @fuzzymittens That’s crazy. I was given scripts for opioids upon discharge after vaginal delivery of my daughter. The kicker: I luckily had pain managed with ice and ibuprofen. They made me take the script. I never filled it. It’s a strange all or nothing scenario sometimes.
