Hot Take of the Day: The Volume has given us lots of great visuals, made certain things possible that would otherwise be impossible, and gets a lot of undeserved hate from those that have jumped on a weird bandwagon in recent years. It doesn't have to be binary (volume vs not).

Tbh the whole “nobody stays dead” thing is overblown imo. Out of people that had actual “death scenes,” we have Maul and Ventress, both linked heavily with Nightsisters. Who else has come back? Boba was never shown dead. It’s not like they are bringing back Kanan or Qui Gon.

Lots of talk about Obi Wan Kenobi recently, and I think the show in general is underrated. It’s not perfect, but no SW project is. It has some truly great scenes and emotional beats. Seeing Qui Gon also hits harder after all of the Phantom Menace celebration this year.

Rewatched “Far Far Away” and I still think it’s excellent. There’s lots to love. The Great Mothers are very cool, Baylan and Shin have some amazing dialogue, plus Thrawn’s epic return, my favorite Sabine fight, the whimsy of the Noti and Ezra reunited with Sabine… great SW.
