Are you are on a campaign to quash all discussion around possible long term safety issues with the vaccines or problems with relying them as the sole strategy for pushing covid-19 into the background? That is antithetical to science and society
@SanjuYVR
@AOC
"We can't fix it because it would be unfair to those who already suffered."
That kind of thinking is a ratchet that sends us on a one-way trip to hell. No thanks!
Hey, Richard. You're Dean of Engineering at UC Davis. Go check with the semiconductor guys about what it takes to set up a clean room. Then you'll know you can forgo the pointless mask.
On SW flight from DC to St Louis. Maybe 8 total masked out of 100+. A lot, and I mean a lot, of coughing and sniffling around me. Wonder how many tested today before boarding. I did. We reduce spread of this pandemic by doing whatever we can to be responsible citizens.

Everyone will get COVID-19 at some point, vaccinated or not. Whether you really notice it or not is a different question. Aim for metabolic health either way.

You would not believe the number of people pushing the idea that the shots provide superior immunity to that acquired by people who have recovered from the disease. There is an agenda afoot.
@CoriBush
You and 5+ others could have fixed this problem NOW by refusing to vote for this must-pass bill unless changes were made. Instead you refuse individually and as a group to use your power. Stop the damn tweeting and DO something. Tweeting, letters, petitions don't count.
@RWMaloneMD
Don't forget fomenting truly nutty anti-vax activities so legitimate concerns about these shots can be lumped in with them. This is psy-ops 101. There are more avenues for people to play these games now.
@IvisonJ
No. In fact it is time to relax suffocating non-pharmaceutical interventions that have not been shown to be effective, although it is clear they do cause harm.
@jimmy_dore
I just can't take all the tweeted BS from these so-called progressives anymore. They are useless shills for the party. If they want us to think otherwise, let them use their obvious power to prove it.
I recently finished reading the truly excellent Ravenous by
@Sam_Apple1
. He brings to life the science and the scientists (and others) in his writing as only the best science writers can. Rising cancer incidence is the canary in the metabolic coal mine. Highest recommendation!
@DrJBhattacharya
If only data like this and further breakdowns into subgroups was used to guide vaccination and other recommendations, we would not be in the complete cluster %$^k we are in.
I am supposedly a "liar and a charlatan" because I took note of the timely definition changes to vaccine and herd immunity to support an agenda as did
@ProfTimNoakes
and a great many others. These new treatments are useful tools, but manipulating the public to misuse them is bad
@PeterSweden7
It's authoritarian seizure, not communism per se. Given the marriage of government and business on behalf of the elites, it's more like fascism.
Recap
@ProfTimNoakes
Calling a treatment that causes cells to synthesize an antigen a "vaccine" in R&D: ✅
Rewriting *dictionary* entries for "vaccine" as it is deployed under EUA:⁉️
Coincident redefinition of herd immunity to fail to include immunity from previous infection: ❌

Models featuring exponential growth characteristics (like for a really contagious virus) can easily produce any output you want. I'll bet I could tweak it and have it say the shots saved no one.

1. A long established point of view based on reality.
2. We can't allow 1 to screw up our agenda.
3. Crap, they noticed we changed 1 to 2 so now we must admit 1 but say obviously we must act according to 2.
Yesterday over dinner I asked my 12-yo son what we have not made recently that he would like for dinner soon. His answer: "Porterhouse!" 🥲
I'll visit my butcher today. My son will be in good shape for his hockey game tomorrow.

People don't give $%^ about his identity since he is bought and paid for by the health care "industry". He's against Med4All and fought against such efforts in California.

For my part, going mostly carnivore, I am down about 12 kg and 2-3 belt notches over 5 months with other markers continuing to improve. This is coming from a not-at-all bad previous diet.
@TheEliKlein
@NutriBollocks
You made the fatal error of not ALSO saying, "but of course, this is incorrect because the desired messaging is you still must be vaccinated even if you have natural immunity from recovering from covid". That is called missing contextual "information".
@DocJohnG
@BretWeinstein
In your years on this planet, presumably functioning in the real world, you don't know what regulatory capture is? It does not suggest conspiracy; it suggests the workaday corruption of the revolving door between government and the private sector.
"It’s my observation that we are facing a pandemic not just of a virus but a pandemic of compliance and complacency, in a culture of silence, censorship, and institutionalized bullying."
@jimmy_dore
I really like Bernie. He's a decent man and a fine New Dealer, but he refuses to rise to the occasion. What does he hope to accomplish by doing the same wrong things (and failing to do what's necessary) over and over again? That's insanity.
Had a fairly large ribeye for dinner last night, probably 20 ounces or more, and a small amount of caprese salad and avocado. Woke up completely not hungry. Scale weight down ~4#. Typical.

@nmlinguaphile
If it was only a misapplication of vaccines in a pandemic it would be horrible enough. This kind of statement points to unmitigated evil.
Climate engineering is the cheapest way to get us out of this climate disaster, but how do we do it? Today I discuss the pros and cons of stratospheric aerosol injections & two new papers.
At last covid hit home. Some fever, sore throat, stuffy nose. Kid done with it quickly. Wife had runaway sore throat amenable to a single dose steroid treatment. I lost sense of smell (like it shut off overnight) but it rebounded some quickly.
They destroyed so much for *this*.
@RDValerie
@BrianLenzkes
Yet he is getting jumped on by those who do not appreciate we have never ended a pandemic like this with vaccines. We may be witnessing the unintended consequences of making the attempt with vaccines that do not limit spread enough.
Do you think action should be taken against those who claim carnivore is the optimal diet?
Eric isn’t qualified to make such claims, but has flip-flopped diets over time & rebrands his SM (many times over). Some people may fall for his claims at the detriment to their health.

It may not be what you had in mind, but your study was about measuring viral load vs. droplet/aerosol particle size, not the effectiveness of universal masking. Do your Refs. 20 and 38 cover the effectiveness of masks vs fine aerosols incl. the way people actually use them?
@TonyClimate
They should estimate the odds that their assumption that a few decades of data is sufficient to decide if an excursion is so rare that it occurs once in 7.5M years on average is correct. I estimate those odds as zero.

Many can also be controlled remotely via a cellular data network; e.g., I can log into a certain website and start my car. The point being made here is a 3rd party could have the power to prevent you from using your car, or limit its range from home, etc.

I had given thought to moving back, but I never would have imagined this situation playing out like it has. I'll say one thing: if I come, I come to fight.

Public health needs first to be honest with itself and to examine its goals, which seemed more about compliance than determining what the best actions were.

All data are subject to the limitations of the studies that generated that data. Often limitations are woefully underestimated while results are freely bandied about as if they represented steel-strength conclusions. There are reasons to rely on relevant data & not other data.

Debates are not a great forum to actually make an argument. You made none, unless you consider a fallacy of argument an argument. I concede that "authorities" should be taken seriously, but *actual* science proceeds through the organized skepticism of expert opinion.
Salmon lightly brined with gin and pickling spices, and hot smoked in the Big Green Egg at 250F for about 45 minutes (to a hair under 130F in the thickest part). I rescued any crispy skin left behind on the grill grid. It’s delicious!
