@Shawn_Spradling Baseball needs some competition like Soccer and Rugby and so on... unfortunately, NPB, KBO, CPBL, LMB and other leagues don't have the financial capacity to rival the MLB. Otherwise it would be great to see 3 or 4 top leagues around the world and have an actual World Series.

Think how many kids in the Czech Republic and around the world were inspired by Ondrej Satoria, an electrician who managed to strike out the mighty Shohei Ohtani...one WBC moment has more impact than the World Series.

@Fantasier_93 أعتقد حشاش لا تصح الا في حالة حشاشي آلاموت..أعتقد سياق الترجمة مهم. إذا قام بالعملية مقابل أجر فهو قاتل مأجور. و إذا قام بعملية الاغتيال في سبيل الانتقام أو ما شابه فهو مجرد قاتل ان قام بالعملية مباشرة، أو مغتال لو قام بها غدرا.

@TomHoefWrites @infieldflygrl YesI will again. Ok forget about the World Cup. Do you know that in Rugby Union the priority goes to the National Team? you think that MLB teams are the only ones that pay athletes? All professional teams do. But there's something about wearing the national colours with pride.

@infieldflygrl I've always stayed away from twitter, but this WBC I decided to chime in and meet baseball fans around the world and discuss the game. But I was shocked by the toxicity of some American fans (not all)...when the feeling of entitlement meets ignorance..
