@EmmaKennedy I'm ecstatic. Not only is justice done, but in some way, my uncle has retribution. Robert maxwell nicked his whole pension. No recompense, no nothing. Just lost his money. I remember the picket lines as kids. Justice, in some way.

@AvaSantina We are landlords renting our property at least £350pcm below market rates. We've never put our rent up in 14 years. We feel we need to increase it now, but we are going to ask for a £50 per month increase so we can keep our tenants as we appreciate them.

@AndyWoodturner I stayed a hotel overnight the other week, checkout was 12pm. Had a dream that I woke up at 1pm but it was so real that I genuinely thought it was, took me 10 mins to realise it was only 9.30am and my alarm was set anyway. Never moved so fast! Horrible feeling!

@9Nylon I published a paper during my PhD which went in a quite high impact factor journal. All the work had been done by a team in Nottingham and Cambridge, but my "supervisor" wanted his name on it. I said he could be an author if he could tell me what my PhD was on. He couldn't.

@thegphc none of the trainee pharmacists that sat the exam should be required to appeal, request annulment or anything else. You should be taking the action and making the decisions, not them. They've paid for a service, and not got one up to standard.

@AvaSantina We would have no problem renting this house out at a higher price but we don't believe in this. We try to be good landlords but we can't afford that house to be empty. We don't own hundreds of houses, that was our home and we want people to enjoy living there

So to be clear @thegphc you are asking candidates to make a decision by 6th July to annul their exam sitting, when none if it was their fault? This is unfair to put that pressure on them: it's for you to sort the fallout, not them. I'm ashamed.

@TheRyanHamilton I think your pain is entirely justified. In the UK, we are allowed "abortion". If the baby is dead it isn't abortion really is it? It's entirely different. I went through the same at 22 weeks and thankfully Rose was delivered with dignity and we had her blessed.

@mark_toshner @DrNeenaJha This is a fabulous thread, but its a one sentencer. Get your vaccine. If you catch COVID and go to hospital then you are more likely to suffer a PE or DVT. Particularly if on respiratory support. Do you want to risk this by not being vaccinated?

@AvaSantina All landlords get is bad press. Some are shocking, I agree. We are not. We respond within 24 hours of a request, we rent way below what we could and we cover our mortgage on a house we couldn't sell. It's not always a landlords choice to rent. We were forced at the time

@Missymusician81 Our son was kept in for 10mins on Fri after school for something he didn't do. He was in tears and furious. It's not the school who has to deal with the fallout and the feeling of injustice he felt. It makes me mad.

@KimberleySonnex If cheating did occur, then this is also unprofessional, but that's for the GPhC to investigate. Seems somewhat futile given the whole cohort have been affected in some way or another, whether it be calculators, computers, delays, problems booking a slot....

A stone lighter in 3 weeks of dieting. Pretty impressed, but there is more than that to shift. Onwards and upwards (or downwards 😅)
