@slaymond_ Thereโ€™s no saving face from what Aemond just did to Aegon. The Council might not have known what the brothers said to eachother, but they surely picked up on the fluency and elegance of Aemondโ€™s cadence as well as the stutter and complete lack of conviction in Aegonโ€™s reply.

@WyattDuncan Every time he speaks, he further embarasses himself. People didnโ€™t like the joke and have generally already moved on because his performance was so bad itโ€™s not even worth the attention. To harp back on it so fast and try to spin this manufactured narrative comes off as pathetic.

@saintaemond Itโ€™s like they had a ban on common sense in the first three episodes thatโ€™s now been lifted. Itโ€™s refreshing to see characters actually try to further their own interests instead of just waffle around. We saw it with Jeyne, the Freys, all the Riverlords, and the smallfolk.
