@ASFleischman The one problem with cameras as they exist is they can be turned off or covered up or whatever. Personal opinion: I think if a cops body camera is turned off or the footage goes missing or whatever, the presumption should be against the cops version of events.

Sydney got, in my view, a good deal out of the 2000 Olympics. A nice, well connected stadium and events precinct, and a collection of world class sporting facilities dotted around the city that are still used, and useful to this day. Will Brisbane get the same? I do doubt it.
