i honestly love the river line, the vast majority of the line is in dedicated ROW, the frequencies are fine (15 min at peak, 30 off peak). it is a local low density service and it does it well, even without wires. we need more of that for small towns.

all sorts of countries across the world can manage to put up electrical wires. plus, the us has many places where electric rail already exists. it's certainly feasible.
