@QueensTennis
This is all so cringe. Since when are gf's on court especially at a prestigious historic stage as Queen's? Tennis becoming like a reality TV show.
@TheTennisLetter
Translation is a big part of the issue here. German legal terms do not translate well. She dropped the case after his lawyer presented evidence of her lies. She vanished from the hearing for 3 days and then her lawyer asked to drop the case. SHE stopped the trial, not him.
@TheTennisLetter
Maybe he'd actually finally get it if they told him that he's scaring children. My friend's 10 year old daughter loves him (off-court) but when she saw him hurt himself she cried and doesn't want to watch him anymore because he scared her...
@josemorgado
This seems to be a pattern lately... He hasn't learned to problem solve on his own. I've been saying this for over a year. As he said himself, he does what JCF tells him to do bc he can't figure it out. Fantastic shot maker and entertaining but not the sharpest strategic tool in
@TennisTV
@AndreyRublev97
How in the world do you win a tournament feeling like that? Painkillers or not, hats off to him! But that sounds really scary. I hope he didn't make himself sicker.
@srihariravi12
It's extremely annoying mostly because he is calling plays constantly. And Carlos is so dependent on him. After every single point he looks over for affirmation. It's too much.
@BenRothenberg
This says way more about you than it does about us. Imagine if you were assumed guilty before your trial even started! Maybe he's guilty, maybe he's not but it's NOT our job to make that determination. Very irresponsible of you.
@kokinakkis2
Wow what a horrific person you are. Maybe someday you'll be accused of something and instantly crucified without having a chance to defend yourself.
@tennislols
Wow that's ridiculous. Nothing has been proven. He has the right to a trial like everyone else. How would you feel if everyone assumed you were guilty? The court will decide. He could've taken the easy way out and paid the fine but chose not to because he maintains his innocence
@TheTennisLetter
I wish everyone would just leave this kid alone with all the comparisons and slam questions. It's ridiculous pressure and expectations to put on a kid. He needs to write his own history.
@abbiemc
Facts are your friend whether you like them or not. The trial isn't happening bc it's "that bad." They tried to get him to avoid a trial by paying a penalty. He refused bc he stands by his innocence. He didn't take the easy way out. Accusations are just accusations until proven.
@S_RF_CA
"They". I started watching tennis as a kid in the 80s. I saw Novak arrive in 2003, start disrupting Fedal in 2008 and crushing by 2010-11. It was mind blowing.
I was also a big Fed fan but was really disappointed in some of the rude things he said about Novak. It was obvious he
@yeojTO
@andyroddick
Here's the surgeon, feel free to call him. And regardless, he WON despite your conspiracy theory. Your opinion doesn't make his win any less incredible than it is.
@BenRothenberg
WOW! What a condescending piece of crap you are. "I wish you were better than that?" She's a million times the person you could ever be. And unlike you, has actually accomplished incredible things rather than trashing athletes for a few clicks. You're the pathetic one here.

@Taylor_Fritz97
@DjokerNole
They hate that he came along and ultimately dethroned their champs. And that he might even keep adding to the records. Jealousy is a very dangerous emotion.
@BastienFachan
Please. He's got the thickest skin around. That's why he can joke, laugh, smile and move on. Anyone who thinks the crowd actually bothers him has not been watching him much. It fuels him all the way to 24.
@TennisONEApp
His "routine" aka getting the shot calls from his coach. He's lost without it and lost without JCF. I still cant believe he admitted publicly that he basically just does what JCF tells him to do 🤦♀️
@SebiKorda
I love all the Italians on this thread apologizing for their compatriots..so much respect for that. Good reminder for people not to generalize and knock a whole nation..it's just the horrible crowd!
@atptour
@DjokerNole
@rolandgarros
How can you even be serious saying survives when he bageled a 22 year old after 4 hours at 3am?!! That not surviving, that absolute stunning greatness.
@BarclayCard18
Wtf? He was
#2
in the world and got a horrific injury that cost him a year. The fact that he got back to
#4
so fast and won another M1000 and got to a major final is amazing. I don't know if I've seen a recovery like that after an injury like that...but he hasnt put in the work?
@drseanmullen
Thanks for this. I've spent 2 days pointlessly trying to explain to mean people how dangerous this was. I've been through a mild TBI so his affect, body function,etc was obvious to me that he was not well. Physical activity should not have happened. Hopefully he has care now.
@globaliteman
Thank you for covering this. It's a remarkable accomplishment that many people don't know about bc he doesn't want to make it an excuse. And if you don't see him on the changeovers then you don't see him managing it. He fought hard to be able to give himself insulin on the
@marioboc17
She is SO well coached. They have an incredible partnership. Their consistency and longevity really helps her stay so even keeled and confident.
@josemorgado
So glad to hear from him directly. Even if he doesn't end up playing, it's great that the recovery is going well and he'll be in great shape for the Olympics.
@TheTennisLetter
Everyone saying what Andy should do really suck. It's his life and his career. He'll retire when he's ready. You have no idea what it's like to be in his shoes so stop telling him what to do.
@BarclayCard18
It was a lights out stellar performance. The stats are mind-blowing. And very gracious and humble speech, as well as words to Jarry at the net. Funny how nobody talks about Jarry's actual doping conviction but are already throwing Sacha in jail before the trial even starts.
@TennisPuneet
Yes the language is a big problem. I struggle every day with bad translations of legal terms. Settlement does not mean the same thing there. Unfortunately he's now been convicted even more in public opinion bc people don't understand the system. But he has a thicker skin than me!
@jon_wertheim
@rolandgarros
None for Carlos/JCF even though he's just as bad as Apostolos...difference is other players complain to the Ump about Tsi and not about JCF because he's the golden child. He basically calls plays from that side every point. I can barely watch Carlos bc of it.
@_markpetchey
Mild concussion symptoms (I've had one): headache, nausea, loss of coordination and balance, sensitivity to light and heat, lethargic, appear dazed.....Treatment: 1-2 weeks of rest. He should have been told to withdraw!

You should be ashamed of yourselves. When Sinner wins in 4 sets yesterday the caption is "WINNER". When Novak wins in 4 sets today, he "SURVIVED." Your bias is showing and it's not a good look.
@RickyBobbyCA
@rolandgarros
He said the same thing in his own social media which I think is a disgrace. Prematurely celebrating and not saying one word about WHY he can announce today, aka someone else's injury. Super lame. And I was a fan..
@DjokovicFan_
Hours later and I'm still floored by what I watched. Given the first half of the year, given the injury that left us not know when we'd see him play again. It's just completely mind boggling.
@BenRothenberg
What you fail to mention is that the penalty order is based purely on written statements. NO evidence taken or seen. That's what the trial is for. He is allowed his day in court to defend himself. The ATP actually DID see evidence and made their ruling.
@TennisTV
Absolutely heartbreaking 💔 Falling, crying..so so sad after how well he was playing. He'll be back in a semi, but so sad. And why on earth doesn't someone carry the bags of the injured players?? He could barely walk.
@TheTennisLetter
I can't even imagine what a difficult position that was to be in. He had to play his hardest but who wants to beat Rafa for his last (?) match at RG? So hard and he handled it so well. Incredible win, plus class and respect for a legend. No matter who you like or not, amazing.
@Damianm410s
@TheTennisLetter
100 % wrong. Her lawyer agreed to do the proceedings in private. She "testified " (that's not a German legal term) one day, left and didn't come back to the hearing for 3 days. Then her attorney reached out to his and said she wanted to drop the case. FACTS.
@ana_mitric
I rewatched this after the match bc I had turned away for a minute and it was totally at his box. They immediately show Jelena smiling. It was adorable.
@TalkingTennisTT
Surely you know the ins & outs of Strafbefehl. The "appeal" aka hearing was already underway. She didnt show for 3 days. Then SHE decided not to pursue the case. SHE asked for a settlement. SHE initiated ending the hearing, not him. Source: her lawyers and the deputy spokeswoman

Thanks for the info. Alot depends on if it's a minor (partial) tear. I had one and didn't need surgery luckily. I just want him to play again, whenever he can. Trying to stay grateful that we saw the old Nole back, heroicly winning amazing matches. He gave us so much this week.
@dgshd33
@InteBNLdItalia
There's a video that shows him pointing at someone else when asked whose bottle it was! Not only is he not apologizing, he's blaming other people! His face looked very odd to me and now I know why! Coward.

So much respect for him keeping it to himself. Despite people wanting to know, it's just fodder for more distractions. Focus focus! Idemo Nole!!

That was nuts. I've never seen that before. Really immature, especially as Grigor was about to serve for the set. Good thing Grisha is a pro.

@SeivwrightTrudy
They can't and will never be able to accept that he surpassed the other 2 on multiple fronts. So instead, they sling false and pointless insults to make themselves feel better. They have to male him an enemy - the alternative is to accept what he's accomplished! Cowards.
