I’ve said it before & I’ll likely say it again: whatever I may think of Novak Djoković’s on- or off-court activity (particularly since March 2020), he deserves accurate coverage & media/public reactions commensurate with what he has & hasn’t done. Both are often missing.

Calls for athletes to be “transparent” with media and, by extension, fans about their bodies—e.g., injuries, illnesses, chronic conditions, authorized prescription drugs, dietary habits, training regimens, medical decisions, & treatment—strike me as odd, even misguided.

In that case, publicizing the brands or revealing the blends’ ingredients would not only decrease what his team may think is a competitive advantage over his opponents (see the below point along these lines) but also be free advertising. The latter is bad for business.
