The reason Rafa has a better h2h vs Novak at Slams is simple, they've played more times at RG than at the AO, Wimbledon, & USO combined! Novak gets to the business end of every Slam whereas Rafa only does at RG. Better H2H at RO: Rafa Better H2H at other 3 Slams combined: Novak

Daniil’s slight muscle pull takes nothing away from Novak’s win. It came right at the end of the 2nd set. It’s clear that Novak was breaking DM down physically. ND was starting to serve much better too. It would’ve been a straightforward win for Novak in the 3rd set.

I disagree. Like we saw in November (only 2 months ago) —when Nole beat Carlos and Sinner back to back and both in straight sets to win the ATP Finals—when Novak is playing his best, he’s still way better than everyone else. Let’s not have such short-term memory.
