Little over a month ago, the SEC released this cringey video - “Office Hours with Gary Gensler.” As FTX defrauded customers out of billions, Gensler took a victory lap about fining Kim K. for $1.26 million and made a high production video about it.

Today @SECGov , we charged Kim Kardashian for unlawfully touting a crypto security. This case is a reminder that, when celebrities / influencers endorse investment opps, including crypto asset securities, it doesn’t mean those investment products are right for all investors.

@hackylawyER Nic is right about how much garbage exists in the literature. He knows a lot about bitcoin that I don’t. And he knows more about bitcoin than you do. I say that because you could learn a lot from him, like I have. It just takes a little humility.
