@vslosingit best keto people will maybe tell you otherwise but i think fruit is magic. i have the limit of 50g of sugar a day and always eat a biig bowl of fruit to get my fiber in cause fiber is very important.

.MY PREPARATION. • I’ve eaten very clean low carb diet for the past 15 days. If you can’t last 2weeks lowcarb, do not expect from your body that it will last 7+ days of water fast. You need to build up resistance to sugar!!! Or else you’ll have shaking hands after 3 days.

However, if you are like me and wanna do things straight away, at least be careful. I recommend minimum of two weeks prior to do 16-8 IF and KETO/LOW CARB DIET! Your body needs to learn how to fast to not be shocked and also it needs to get rid of sugar dependence and cravings. >

• I prepared my mind and soul. Yea this sounds cheesy but you need to be able to outlast the first three days- they are the worst. You are hungry, then you are very weak, you wanna end it. You need to be aware of that. You need to meditate, listen to good music and go on walks.

Also please do not do extended fasts if you’re already low bmi/have low body fat %. This fasts are effective and safe mostly because body starts to burn through your fat storages after the start of ketosis. So if you have minimal fat in your storages, you will get very ill.

• I’ve tried to eat as much protein as I could so my strength lasts longer. Your muscle needs to be okay so you won’t be lying in bed after 5 days without any strength to get up. I was like that with my first 7 day fast. If you can’t get up from the bed, you need to stop.
