Part of playing any game is Learning what “maximal” is. Speed, load, energy , focus, recovery etc. 90% of 1RM x1 rest 30 seconds and do it for as many sets as possible. The scheme teaches maximal intensity within a specific work to rest ratio. Learn your learners @TFConsortium

Box landings are another thing I learned from Coach Dan Fichter @WGF1 a few years ago. Your brain will never let you achieve a vertical jump height that the brain feels is unsafe or sees as a threat. This is how we train the brain that a particular height is safe for us.
