Btw I know it's pre season but take note of how poor our transition defence has been. This is the risk with playing as aggressively as we're trying to, rotating out a CB, high line, very aggressive 8s and lots of long balls to find the forwards in behind. Must be tightened up.

Not always the best with contact or got the best burst but Havertz is also deceptively technical and strong in duels at times. Being part of a more set XI or structured team creatively should help him alot to demonstrate his skillset on and off the ball.

Garnacho was brilliant at RW yday but it's important to note alot of that was due to the Villa high line and the spaces it allowed him to operate and arrive into. Sterner tests against deeper blocks await, to see how his dribbling and chance creation will hold up but + signs!
