No empathy I would say. If you look at the number of sprints he was making then we won’t complain. Everytime we get the ball, we expect him to constantly sprint forward at high intensity. It’s unfair to expect that and expect high intensity while pressing as well.

Marcus Rashford’s first half vs Arsenal was one of the best I’ve seen him have. Fantastic defensive workrate + application to nullify the White/Saka/Ø triangle. Brilliant goal. But instead of building on that, he’s gone back to being disinterested + lazy.

Ole needs to train players to pass quicker.. Like Pep Ole needs to train them to play like robots... Far too many times they revert back to old slow football. Need to train them a lot to play the ball quicker and train them to hold possession better #MUFC

If you watch most of this match, Ajax played long and tried to counter press. They rarely built through the middle. Ajax had 48% possession with 74% pass accuracy that day. Ten Hag’s style of progression and control is through pressing and counter pressing
