In 2024 the McKendree offense accounted for 179 XBH’s. Over the last 3 seasons we’ve combined for a total of 541, while scoring 6.8 runs/game. - 297 2B’s - 217 HR’s - 27 3B’s We’ve had a 64% FB/LD rate, which is ~6% higher than the D2 average. Train accordingly #BARRELS

2021 catcher Jordan Donato shortened his arm action by not allowing the ball to fall below his glove after the transfer. This change led to a .65 release time at 70mph on this throw to 2nd. Great athlete that will continue to add arm strength through the winter. @stlrecruits

22 year old pitcher throwing 103mph and a 23 year old hitter taking him deep to dead center. Baseball has evolved. Trying to locate your 80mph fastball on the mound and slapping singles to the opposite field at the plate don’t cut it anymore. Adapt or die.

There’s so much eyewash in catching instruction. Sometimes the best thing is to have them receive velo, block hammers, and move fast and throw hard. Stop having them receive on a balance beam. It really doesn’t do anything.

It doesn’t matter what club team you play for, you still have to be a dude to go D1. Work to earn that scholarship and develop as a player, instead of expecting to be handed one just because a club coach made you an empty promise.

Watching AAA legion baseball, Oregon junior d1 state, Oregon junior d2 state and club baseball over the last several summers and it is abundantly clear that summer baseball in Oregon needs to be reconfigured. Everything is so watered down.

He does it again!! This time Cockrell’s HR traveled an estimated 415 feet and left the bat at an astounding 115 miles per hour, the hardest hit ball at Swayze field since the start of the 2018 season!!! 💪🏻💪🏻💣💣🚀🚀
