@DawnsMission
Sad... I watched a couple walking in the woods with no one around yesterday... both double masked. If they just realized how much good that fresh forest air would do for them. Sigh
@iam_emilyanne
You pay them when you're well and stop when you get sick until they help you return to wellness. Then the monthly wellness payment restarts. That would change the world.
@eatthesunnow
Honestly, get their heads around not eating for comfort and give it a try for 30 days. Cut out all of the sugar and processed foods. Find their compelling reasons to change. We've never worked with a single client who didn't feel better after 30 days on low carb. It doesn't
@HerbsandDirt
A way too common story, many of our friends who couldn't wait for the next shot are suffering. In fact they all seem to get Covid on a regular basis. :-(
@ValerieAnne1970
Really hate hearing stories like this. I go through it at our studio all of the time. They say they want to be healty. I tell them how to do it and the reply is usually exactly what you got here. But I'm not stopping. Every so often someone actually listens and changes their life
@eatthesunnow
Good job. Low carb didn't make them better for me, although it did reverse my type 2 diabetes 17 years ago. Carnivore seems to be improving the floaters after only 2 weeks
@eatthesunnow
I went from super low carb to carnivore 2 weeks ago. I was telling my wife last night my floaters aren't bothering me and my left eye isn't getting cloudy. So I can't wait to see your research.
@eatthesunnow
Yep, had vertigo years ago. Doctors told me I was fine... I switched to keto on the advice of a friend not for that but for weight loss. The vertigo disappeared and I didn't even realize if for a few years.
@eatthesunnow
It's really tough not to grab a soapbox and scream... But until they are ready it's a waste of time. Be an example and sooner or later they will probably ask how you do it
Restaurant depot sells 1% EVOO, 99% soybean oil blends.
More likely than not, this is what's on the table at your local Italian restaurant for dipping bread etc.
Ever heard 'you can't teach an old dog new tricks'?
Well, meet my friend, a 75-year-old powerhouse who just started lifting weights.
To all those who say 'I'm too old to start',
Here's your wake-up call with a side of inspiration!
Don't let age be just a number!
@ElieJarrougeMD
It is a ponder isn't it? Candy bars and junk food a "deserved treat"... and life giving beef evil? The world has turned upside down on so many issues
@JennyBGoodX
Call it what you want. 2007 a1c 14.1. Well under 6 for the 17 years since without drugs and with zero side effects. Exercise and low carb eating. I think of it as cured personally
You'll love this... Dave, all of your numbers are great but since you were diagnosed with diabetes 10 years ago you'll need to go on statins immediately. It doesn't matter that your A1C is well under 6 and has been for years. He couldn't believe I had not taken any statins since
โฆWalk around any public place today and you come home depressed. People have bought into the medical system hook line & sinker. It has miserably failed them.

Ditto, low carb got rid of 90 pounds in 2007... Canrivore is healing me the rest of the way. HIGHLY recommend both styles of eating for health, fitness and happiness. Thanks for sharing yourself with the community
Itโs time to un-learn whatโs been beaten into our heads for decades. Low carb eating got me off of all medications. I lost 30lbs and gained at least 10lbs of muscle.
Remove yourself from the donkey.
17 years ago when I first went keto a "friend" warned me how dangerous it was.
As I went lower and lower carb they were seriously concerned.
Let's see...
Weight down 110 pounds (and maintained),
a1c from 14.1 to under 5,
never get sick,
heart strong and healthy
eye
@ElieJarrougeMD
I like your take on this. Dr E from Diet Doctor had an episode recently where he said there wasn't any actual evidence they were bad... but he kind of implied they might be. LOL. I choose not to use them either, thank you very much
@MichaelAlbertMD
Except we know permanent lifestyle change is possible. People do it. We just don't know how exactly and nobody is studying it because it won't be profitable.
Pharma industry will never provide actual solutions. That's not profitable for them either.

I finally figured out the best way for me to hold myself accountable was to become a fitness instructor and teach classes in-studio and online. I knew I'd show up for that! LOL
How do you hold yourself accountable to your fitness goals?
I used to struggle with this a great deal, but over the past 6 years I have learned some simple โhacksโ that keep me on track.
I have about a half dozen good โhacksโ that I have used consistently.
One of my favorites
Stretching your rib cage helps increase lung volume to allow deeper breaths.
Greater lung volume = greater vital capacity, which is a fundamental variable of longevity.
One of the things I've found is that if you first clean up your eating and embrace low-carb or carnivore... the rest follows along naturally. Your body insists that you move. In fact it's happiest when you get out and do something.
Donโt let aging slow you down. Simple techniques can keep you agile and joyful, without the gym or meds. Become the master of your own health journey! After all, you're in charge.๐ผ๐ช
Intermittent fasting is SO much more than just fat loss
โฌ๏ธIncreased energy levels
โฌ๏ธAppetite regulation (leptin/ghrelin balance)
โฌ๏ธImproved immune function
โฌ๏ธUnregulated brain health
โฌ๏ธImproved Will power
What are you waiting for? Let's do this!
@SeattleAce
Same here... breat doesn't like me any longer... even my daughter's AMAZING sourdough. One of my few food disappointments... let's face it.. life is good eating steak and eggs.
Stress is a killer. Take slow deep breaths and let it go.
Or do like I do. I tell myself to knock it off.
No matter how you do it let stress go.
Whatever it it this too shall pass.
Move forward
Client with strict carnivore since January only lowered his A1C from 7.1 to 6.9. I was sure he would be way lower. Looking at his food log he only ate eggs, havarti cheese and steak. Never experienced that before. Anyone else ever see similar results?
@SBakerMD
Less, Washington State... It's not even close. All of that processed crap is expensive and simple meals save. Not to mention eliminating snacks
@_PiggyPie
That's a pretty good indication something is amiss. We stopped eating out because we can't trust what they add to our food. Sugar in scrambled eggs... Seriously? That was the last time we ate out
Great advice, once I stopped looking at food as a reward for a hard day or as a treat for a special event and thought of it as my health provider my life changed for the better. The cravings left and the good health exploded!
Oh oh, back in X jail for 3 days... guess I followed too many people. Didn't it used to be hundreds a day? I've probably followed 15 or 20 in the past 24 hours. Oh well, we'll keep sharing our message and follow back as soon as we're released. Thanks for understanding
17 years ago I was so tired of being in pain and the complications from my diabetes medications that I made a decision and did something about it. What is your compelling reason to get healthy?
Approximately 50% of US adults now have diabetes or prediabetes.
Diabetes is associated with brain conditions, including depression, Alzheimer's disease, and Parkinson's disease.
Mental health and metabolic health are inseparable.
