In February 2022 I started at 285lbs.

100lbs lost. This can be done if you want it bad enough, put in the work, and dedicate yourself to change. There’s no hack or secret, I just refuse to give up!
This journey started in February of 2022, at 285lbs.

2 years, lots of ups, lots of downs. You can accomplish anything if you want it bad enough. Mindset, consistency, and dedication!

You will never regret putting in the work! I stopped making excuses and refused the idea of ever giving up!
When this journey began there was zero chance I thought I would ever look like I do now. It is important to look back and see how far you’ve come personally, rather than looking at how far you perceive yourself from others. Keep working, keep pushing. Be proud but never satisfied
This journey started because I needed to change, I needed to be healthier. Consistently making myself accountable and making decisions conducive to my goals. Keep working, keep building, always working at being 1% better than yesterday.
@antidoc32
The most shocking to me was the push back I got from family when I started getting more lean. Need to stop losing weight, you don’t have anymore to lose, starting to look sick. insane to me not one told me to stop eating myself into a coma but lots to say as I got healthier
I have struggled a bit over the last couple weeks, scale weight pissing me off, and just feeling like progress isint happening.
Comparison may be the thief of joy, but it 100% contributed to where I am today. The 285lb me two years ago would be overjoyed with this progress.
Today I am sub 200lbs, a weight I thought I’d never see again. The goal will continue to change and always will because being average is no longer acceptable to me. Surround yourself with great people and great things will happen!

Another day = Another opportunity to progress. Continuing to progress most lifts while in a deficit.
You can fight change or accept defeat. I’m gonna keep fighting 💪🏻

There was a time at 285lbs I didn’t believe I could do this. Mindset changed everything. Set goals and believe in yourself. You can accomplish anything you’re willing to work for!
When good lighting and a good pump hit just right, you take the picture.
Life doesn’t give you what you want, it gives you what you deserve. Be Disciplined, be consistent, and EARN IT.

February 2022 I was 285lbs, I had enough of being fat. I decided that being obese was no longer going to be my identity, I decided that I was going to take control of my life and no longer allow obesity to control me. Take control TODAY because if I can you absolutely can too!
Being a father has been an absolute blessing, she gave me a reason to be better, not an excuse to do less. I’m far from perfect but I will continue every single day working at being the best possible version of myself!
My motivation is and always will be right here. I am a better person in every single area of my life and now I can be proud of who I am rather than ashamed. I had no clue the positive effect focusing on training/nutrition would have on my life, but I do know I’ll never go back!
What is your main driver for going to the gym?
If your sole motivation is physical appearance, you may only go so far.
If 'the look' is all you want, you may find it hard to sustain internal drive for too long.
You see pictures of the best in the game and think, "I want to
I have put a huge emphasis on rep quality/form over the last little while. This set shows some huge progress in that department. I have guys like
@dookiebutter100
and
@DeanTTraining
to thank for posting great content and the importance of set quality and form.
There are many different paths in life, we’ve all taken ones we regret. This path is one I’ll never regret. The best version of you is in there, you just have to be willing to fight for it!
Building lean mass while cutting body fat isn’t easy but it’s possible.

Every single rep matters
Rep quality matters
Frequency matters
Diet matters
Rest matters

Embrace the journey, be proud of the progress. When you fall get back up, do it again and again. Everyone falls but the ones who succeed keep getting back up over and over and over again.
Sometimes it doesn’t feel like progress is happening. Those are the times to reflect and look back at how far you’ve come.
May 26, 2022 — 265lbs
August 25, 2023 — 209lbs
Mindset and hard work has changed my life!
@dookiebutter100
this is my flex for today.
I’ve had multiple guys at the gym comment on my progress/ask for advice. I always take the time to talk and help because I was once in the same place. There is no secret, it’s just patience, and making the boring shit seem sexy with long term goals. The quick fix does not exist!
Results and progress are a direct reflection of our efforts.

Intensity
Nutrition
Consistency
Every little detail matters. If you want it bad enough, you will check every damn box!
December 2022 🤝 December 2023
Way too many on here majoring in the minors, wasting time worrying about things that don’t matter.
Find a plan you can consistently show up for. Show up day after day and put in the work. Change will happen
Consistency-Mindset-Dedication
If you've had a weight loss transformation in the last 3 years quote tweet this with before and after picture.
Let's show the weight loss lurkers what's possible.
What you see in the mirror is a direct result of the effort you put into yourself. Don’t like it? Change it! No one can do it for you, and most don’t want to see you succeed anyway. Do the work, make the changes, and eventually that reflection will be something you’re proud of!
Making myself accountable for my choices is THE biggest change I have made in this journey. The work continues, the grind continues, the drive to be better every damn day continues.
Putting these pictures together this morning got me emotional. Realizing the extent of how much my life has changed and how far I’ve come, my life is better in every way imaginable! Start NOW, you will not regret it and you absolutely can do it.
@TheDadAesthetic
As someone who has gone from fat as fuck to somewhat fit, no one will understand the value of getting fit until they do it. The average person, including myself, generally has no clue the benefits and value of getting fit. I can say for certain I will NEVER go back.
I read this yesterday and thought “Fuck that, I’m sick”. Woke up this morning still not able to breathe through my nose and remembered where excuses got me before. No excuses, get it done!
Easy? God no! It requires hard work and dedication to change. This is exactly 13 months of work and I had zero of the below at my disposal. It can absolutely be done and people shouldn’t believe any different. No one can do the work for you. Mindset, dedication and hard work!
I’ve been asked by a few how I’ve managed my transformation, this set may sum it up best. I have been relentless in the pursuit of change, I’ve been a student and willing to learn anything and everything that will help me, and every damn set looks like this one. 220 x 8
Going through these changes both mentally and physically has been an incredible journey. I’m far from done but super proud of how far I’ve come.
#DOWORKSON
This dude has been there and supported most all of us in this space, always positive and very helpful. Let’s show some support here and watch him fuckin kill these shows!
Had a crappy few days
As
@BenjaminYeezus
posted once - I didn’t come this far just to come this far.
The old/weak me has been whispering in my ear.
Why am I even doing this?
Because I said I would, and my word is impeccable - that’s why.
Buckle up. Dust yourself off
This set makes me happy about how far I have progressed. A year ago my sets weren’t this clean. You can go to the gym and sling weight around OR you can control the weight and make progress! Thinking
@dookiebutter100
likes to see sets like this
2023 is going to be a great year! I’ve heard all the big boned bullshit and that’s all it is. If you want it you have to put in the work and
#doworkson
If I can do this I truly believe ANYONE can that wants it bad enough.
@100club100
What I thought was impossible before, is now becoming a reality. Every devision, every sacrifice, every set back, and every time I got back up, they ALL became part of the journey.
Some days will get away from you, sometimes life just happens. Keep building, keep learning, and never stop getting back up. Staying down is no longer acceptable!
As it turns out, muscles like carbs haha
It’s only been a week or so at higher cals (still a hair below maintenance most days) and I can already see a difference
Looking forward to 3-4 months of heavy, controlled lifting with more fuel
I have 🙋🏻♂️and I can tell you for certain, a calorie deficit is indeed a calorie deficit regardless of how you’d like to slice it. I am on the verge of losing 100 total lbs and I eat a bagel almost every morning. How?! I budget it into my deficit 😱😱
@ZachHan25148246
@S_Carter532
Then your body will adapt to the calorie deficit and stop losing weight, have you ever had to lose 80lbs? I'm guessing not. It's not as simple a you would like to make it. Good it bad, it's just not that simple.
Been doing alot of reflecting on how far I’ve come and the work I’ve put in. Below is Christmas 2021 vs Christmas 2022. Every single second that I have put in has been worth it. I will not stop because she deserves the best version of me that I can be.
Freddie admits he needs to "find some swagger" over the next few games and looks at these games like his "pre season" but for some reason the only part people read is he has felt a bit banged up. HE WANTS TO PLAY
@benryanwriter
My medical condition was being a fat lazy slob and there’s no hiding from it. The CURE for my condition was finding people like
@dookiebutter100
who helped and motivated me to lose 80lbs. My life is better in every possible way and Dooks has been a huge part of my success!
Super proud of of this guy, talk daily and he hasn’t wavered once. Dedicated to the process and absolutely crushing it. Being pushed by this MF is both a blessing and a curse lol.
One of the many great things that have come from this app is a great friendship with this guy. One of the most humble guys I’ve met and always looking to lift others up. Absolutely smashing goals and with a show coming in the spring he’s about to show a lot of us how it’s done!
This was my goal last December.
I ended up going from ~254lb of fat to 199lb at my lowest.
Then I bulked up for 4 months and I'm still sitting around 214lb
The way my body looks, the way I feel, the way I live are completely different.
No looking back
As you can see I hit a real sticking point for a while. It was really frustrating - made some adjustments by adding a bit of zone 2 activity and carb cycling. Also really focused on bites/licks/tastes and eliminating any non-journaled cals completely. Last 2 weeks have been ❤️🔥
Pretty much exactly 1 year between photos, counting my injury months
I’m not perfect but I’m proud of the changes I’ve made both physically and in terms of my general health and lifestyle
But I’m also hungry for more
Thanks everyone who has been supportive of my process
Rob is an incredible example of how you can manage the daily grind of life, having kids, yet still getting phenomenal results. Many on here, including myself, have benefited greatly from his advice and support, if you aren’t already you should definitely be following.
MINDSET HACK
You wake up every morning and pick out what outfit you're going to wear.
BUT you could just as simply pick the person you're going to be that day
This obviously can work for a million things - but specifically I'm talking fitness.
You wake up, and you can
Today is normally a rest day, 5 day split with two days off. I just got here to get on the stair mill. WHY? Because yesterday I said I would and shit doesn’t happen sitting on your ass.
