If we were charging based on road wear alone, the registration for the super duty (6,500lbs) would be about 39X the smart car (2,500lbs). So if the car registration is $200, the truck would be $7,800. Too bad bikes don’t pay their fair share though. 🥴

People in DC complain about how parking is hard to find, yet both of these vehicles pay the same amount for a parking permit. On street parking should be more expensive for larger vehicles.

“The developers came in and crammed as many homes as possible.” So…they’re using the space as efficiently as possible given market constraints and demands? Explain it slow how this is a net negative or why it’s “the developers” fault.

Dublin, CA is the fastest growing city in CA going from 46k to 73k citizens from 2010-2020. I grew up here and this pic was basically all farmland/ military base before 2000. Then the developers came in and crammed as many homes as possible (most of them 3 stories) onto the
