@jodbrens I think the perception is that many of the stranger attacks/murders tend to be foreign men but the majority of attacks where the people were known to each other were Irish men. The media too tends to focus on stranger attacks as it gets more clicks/interest.

@ThiaBallerina I’m from Ireland. This is fake news or at best a very misleading tweet. Yes there is sick pay but its only available to those who go into self isolation. Not everybody in the country. Work is still going on here, there is no shutdown. Also its only €350 per week allowance.

@gavreilly @Paulius152 I think the bigger issue is salaries/jobs in journalism are declining. Meanwhile advisor positions are very well paid. We all agree that politicians are well paid to try to avoid the possibility for bribery/corruption. Maybe we need a discussion on that with journalists too…
