Two of my adult children are experiencing serious & rare medical problems. This does not include my dgtr who had the brain tumor. If I seem a bit distant, please forgive me. I'm a bit overwhelmed. Thankfully, we are a close, loving and supportive family with medical backgrounds.

Last night, my mother got out of bed on her own (a no no)and slipped, fell, and broke her wrist and maybe in her pelvis. She is having heart problems and has become confused. She was rushed to a nonDuke hospital which means we don't know her docs well. Please pray for her and us.

Today, JD Greear and the SBC asked sex abuse victims to stand up and be prayed for in their convention hall. Seriously? What has the SBC ever done to encourage anyone to come forward and do this? For example, was Ministry Safe present, taking names of this who stood?

We have removed extraordinary treatments and meds from my mom. She will be transferred to a skilled nursing facility, and afterward, if she is still with us, we will bring her to my house with the help of hospice. I am spending 10-12 hours/day at the hospital.
