When we came up with our new vision - Achieving our dreams together - I was keen to collate all those dreams and share them together. Our 'Corridor of Dreams' looked lovely in the sunshine and against the school courtyard today. Now to start making them happen 🙂

Last day in Y6, off to lead our 3/4 expansion. Have LOVED Y6, this classroom and all our Y6 curriculum has been over the last few years. The book, the restaurant, the cafe, the museum...I have the BEST job. Now to take it all to 3/4.

@smithsmm @NadineDorries I spent 14 months out of 15 eating my lunch with my class, doing break duty for my class, From 8-3:15 I was with my class and TA and nobody else...no breaks for us, no downtime. We acted on guidance. We acted on what we were advised to do....what did those advising us do??

@ASBOTeacher Guided reading carousels. Keep 24 kids busy with 'jobs' whilst you try to hear 6 read, whilst occasionally shushing the rest of the class. Never liked it, glad to see the back of it and the outcomes speak for themselves.

Our KS2 made top 3% progress three years on the spin. We were doing Pokemon-themed evolution learning the week before SATs. We ran a restaurant, published a book, launched a theme park and created a fashion brand. The solution is far beyond 'core'

After a very busy first half term as Acting HT and being around school, I had the joy of teaching our Y6s all afternoon. It felt great to be in class and reminded precisely why I still think teaching is the best job in the world. Plus it's Ancient Egyptian History 🧑🏻‍🏫
